Budapest 2018 Programs

We would like to welcome you at the 4th Global Chess Festival, which is going to be situated at a beautiful building, in the Hungarian National Gallery, on the 13th of October, 2018. Chess and art will glitter together there! Come and play with us on the chessboard and beyond, if you like chess or if you merely wish to get to know this ancient board game! If you would like to compete together with your father or grandmother come to play at the GENERATIONS CLASH tournament, or if you are a kid, then the best choice for you is the SZAMOS CHESS PALACE CUP, while you might have a glimpse at the players of THE FUTURE CHAMPIONS, talents from Hungary and abroad. In addition, we created the opportunity for adults to compete in an exclusive environment at the CHESS CHALLENGE tournament.

 

There will be an opportunity to challenge a Grandmaster. while having a coffee at the CSONTVARY CHESS CAFE, next to one of the most famous Hungarian paintings, YOU CAN MAKE THE FIRST MOVE is an opportunity for you to see how visually impaired and deaf people enjoy playing chess. Moreover, there will be a SIMUL with the Polgar Sisters, and you may be the one who will be selected! Those who are just learning the basics of chess may enjoy other programs such as SZAMOS SWEET ART AND CRAFT, POLI FARBE MAGIC PAINTING, and other surprises are waiting for you!
