The Judit Polgár Chess Foundation proudly announces the Chess Challenge Tournament!
The event will take place during the 11th Judit Polgár Global Chess Festival at the Hungarian National Gallery, in the spirit of fair play and in a friendly atmosphere where participants can enjoy new experiences and make new friends.
Registration: On-site registration will follow prior email pre-registration.

Note: Due to venue capacity, the number of participants is limited, so early registration is recommended.
Chess belongs to everyone, and the Global Chess Festival organized by the Judit Polgár Chess Foundation is open to all — for those who already love the game and those who are just about to fall in love with it. In this spirit and true to the Foundation's mission, we warmly welcome all participants!

Who can participate?
The tournament is open to unrated players and those with a maximum of 2000 FIDE blitz rating points (based on the official FIDE blitz rating list). No competition license is required to participate.
Tournament Rules
Format: 5-round Swiss system, following FIDE Blitz rules
Time control: 8 minutes per player + 3 seconds increment per move
Tiebreaks: Head-to-head result, Modified Buchholz, Berger system
FIDE rules apply.
