Children's chess art: the field of craft

CEST 10.30 AM -2.30 PM

Hungarian National Gallery, 1st floor

Have you ever tried to make a chess figure out of shredded pieces of paper or ironable beads? How about the knight’s figure? We invite children to the field of craft! At the field of craft, they will not only train and enhance their creative powers, but also their fine motor skills. During the session, children can unleash their imagination to create their favourite chess figure, while various playful tasks inspire them to focus.

Children develop eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills as they are selecting the beads - which requires small movements - or as they concentrate on the delicate tearing of the pieces of paper and the careful shaping of the figures. During the session, children can unleash their imagination to create their favourite chess figure, while various playful tasks inspire them to focus.

We reserve the right to change the schedule.
