The aim of the activity is to introduce children to the basics of programming in a fun and playful way. Volunteers from the Morgan Stanley’s Budapest office will guide youngsters through the foundations of the beginner-oriented Scratch programming language with the help of Lego robots. The program is suitable for 10 to 15-year-olds, and no prerequisite skills are required beyond basic literacy. There are multiple synergies between chess, science and the world of finance. Morgan Stanley, a leading global financial services firm, is proud to support the Global Chess Festival and Judit Polgar, the world’s most successful female chess player, in her pursuit to inspire the next generation to play chess and explore the exciting realms of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
